Controls Remapped publishes reviews of computer games assessed at the input layer, together with cross-game notes drawn from the same archive. Everything here is editorial opinion supported by measurements taken under the stated protocol. Nothing here is advice about a purchase, and no outcome is guaranteed to any reader.
Input counts, hold counts, rebindable shares and device detection results describe the specific version of a game tested on the date recorded in the review, on the four devices listed. Games change. A patch can alter any figure on this site without notice, and where we discover that has happened the bench is re-run rather than the numbers being edited in place.
A figure recorded here is a statement about software behaviour, not a promise about your experience. A scheme our testers found workable may still be unusable for you, and the protocol page explains at length why we keep those two kinds of statement separate.
Games are bought at retail at full price and input devices are bought outright. There are no review copies, no early access arrangements, no advertising, no sponsorship and no affiliate links anywhere on this site. Trade marks and game names are used for identification and remain the property of their respective owners.
Quoting a figure or a short passage with attribution to this site is welcome, and no permission is needed for it. Reproducing whole reviews, republishing the archive, or presenting our measurements as the output of another testing process is not permitted. If you cite a figure, cite the bench number alongside it, because a bare number without its bench is not meaningful.
Every figure is checked twice before publication and the raw counting notes are retained. Errors will still occur in a project of this size. When one is identified the review is corrected and the correction is described in the text rather than made silently, and if a correction changes a headline figure the previous value stays visible.
These pages are static files served without any uptime commitment. Pages may be revised, renamed or withdrawn as the archive is reorganised, and nothing here should be treated as a permanent record. Where a review is withdrawn, the reason is stated on the index rather than the page disappearing without explanation.
The material here is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Nobody involved in producing this site accepts liability for any loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of a review, an input figure or a device-detection result published here. Decisions about what to buy remain entirely yours.
This site has no comment system, no forms, no accounts and no submission mechanism, so nothing published here originates from a reader. Tester notes that appear in reviews come from people who took part in a bench under the protocol described on that page.
These terms may be revised as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the revision note above indicates which bench it was last reviewed against.
